New patch getting welded in.
I built a special dolly on the end of a piece of pipe so I could planish out the welds to stretch the weld shrink out. Zinc coated before the rail goes in place.
Inside new reinforcement channel was added along with new anti crush tubes for where the A frame bolts in.
I looked closely at the remaining section of rail on the first side and decided to replace it as had a few pin holes.
Replaced sections that had some pitting. The reinforcement channel for the shackle mount was thicker than the front spring mount, so I made sure I matched the gauge. Probably because there is only two rivets holding it instead of four for the front mount spread over a larger area.
